Nokia has refreshed its entry-level 110 series with a 2023 version. Let’s take a look at what this basic 2G phone offers.

Design and Display

The design follows Nokia’s classic candy bar style. It measures 115.1 x 49.4 x 14.5mm and weighs 79.6 g. It’s made of plastic and available in Charcoal and Cloudy Blue.

Up front is a small 1.8-inch 120x160px LCD display for viewing menus and contacts. The resolution is 111ppi, which is quite low but expected at this price point.

Hardware, Performance, and Storage

Under the hood is unspecified internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. A 1000mAh battery aims to keep the basics running. No-frills hardware focuses only on call/text functionality.

Connectivity

It supports 2G GSM networks along with GPRS and EDGE data connectivity. Dual SIM slots allow use of two phone numbers. No 4G or advanced connectivity options here.

Software and Features

The phone runs Nokia’s Series 30 OS, which offers the basics like calls, messages, contacts, and an MP3 player. Games can provide light entertainment, too. However, no camera is included.

Pricing and Availability

Although it is a very basic phone, it costs a bit more, around 70EUR. Available globally in select markets, it could be a cheap spare device.

While very basic, it serves well as an emergency phone or for seniors. Given the price, just don’t expect powerful performance or modern functions. It is strictly for basic calling needs only.
